The Paranoid Company Overview

Our name pays homage to a remarkable group of U.S. Army codebreakers who worked on the highly classified Venona Project during the 1940s and 1950s. These pioneers accomplished what many believed impossible: breaking Soviet one-time pad ciphers that were widely considered unbreakable. Their work shaped intelligence operations throughout the Cold War and influenced generations of cybersecurity professionals who would later help secure emerging technologies at organizations like AOL, Yahoo, and Verizon.

What inspired us wasn't just their technical brilliance, it was their willingness to think differently.

We may not be WWII or Cold War era codebreakers tackling new threat landscapes like the internet, but we are on a mission to change how the security industry solves the “business of Cyber Security”.
