The Paranoids

Our name is inspired by the cryptanalysts behind the Venona Project, a secret U.S. intelligence effort that began in the 1940s. By painstakingly decrypting Soviet one-time pad ciphers, they uncovered espionage that had gone undetected for years.

The name also pays tribute to the legendary security teams known as The Paranoids at Yahoo, AOL, and Verizon groups built on the belief that healthy skepticism, relentless testing, and challenging assumptions are essential to protecting what matters most.

That's the philosophy behind The Paranoid Company. We question everything, evaluate relentlessly, and believe the best cybersecurity comes from transparency, verification, and preparation.

Because in cybersecurity, being paranoid isn't fear it's readiness.
